Digital waste passports
for circular ports
Digital waste passports are created for waste documented in MARPOL receipts completed by shipping agents. These passports are subsequently linked to those of new materials produced by the recycler Adalmo , allowing Adalmo to certify the origin of the recycled materials supplied to its clients, primarily manufacturers.
The Port of the Balearic Islands benefits from a sustainability dashboard, providing insights into the impact of its waste beyond the port. This includes data on the final environmental impact, based on the recovery and valorization of waste after processing by the recycler.
